1-year ago today

We started taking customers. What an unbelievable year! Lots of great things planned for the next 12-months too. Most importantly, a big thanks to all of our customers who spread the word and make this community one of the best around.

    I have been with you guys for 11 1/2 months, and SliceHost has been providing the best VPS service I’ve ever experienced, bar none!

    I’ve been testing a website for several months on Slicehost and, I have to say, I’m loving everything about it. Incredibly useful community, the concept of VPS (new to me for this project) kicks shared hosting’s hindquarters, and with deprec/Rails/Capistrano/Ubuntu its just freakishly easy to get stuff done. (Am I really working on a Linux box? REALLY? I thought there was supposed to be more, you know, pain.)

    (Sidenote to anybody wondering how to get out of the queue: prepay more, problem solved. Gets you a 10% discount too, anyhow. The only risk you’re taking is that you’ll want to leave Slicehost and, believe me, you won’t want to leave Slicehost.)
