Upgrading an existing system works the same is usual (dist-upgrade). For specific issues and recommendations regarding upgrades check here – https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UpgradeNotes

i already upgrade. my question is about the kernel. is the kernel in this image same with ubuntu 7?
